But number of members in every House may or may not be same, depending on the total number of students in the institution.
The total marks obtained by all the members of every House will be included in the House Total. Also there will be pop - quizzes during regular classes where the first one to give the correct answer will be awarded 5 points to his/her House.
CBT scores will also be included, but after being averaged over the total number of members from each House appearing for that particular CBT.
Late comers will be penalized by 1 House point every time they are late.
Disturbance during the classes will also be penalized, after providing warnings. Members of every House involved will be penalized by 1 House point each.

Jagadish Chandra Bose: Scientist (Biology primarily)
Homi Jehangir Bhabha: Scientist (Theoretical Physicist)
Srinivasa Ramanujan: Mathematician
Hargovind Khorana: Biochemistry
The top four students from the previous marks table have been assigned House Heads. In the House Table you will find their names with Yellow background. Their job is to maintain discipline and performance within their Houses. All four of them are highly competitive (by my personal judgement) and I presume that they will try their best to make their House win in three months.
There will be no bitterness within the members of a House for demerit point. This is meant to be a healthy competition and students are expected to enjoy the event. The two scenarios of demerit points (punctuality and excessive chatting during the classes) should be controlled by the members of the House themselves. If you see through the list, I have deliberately kept close students in separate Houses, so that in case of demerit point for chatting, more than one House is penalized. In case any news of such bitterness reaches me, I will ban that entire House for that three months' competition.
Play Fair, Play Nice, Study Hard and Maintain Discipline, if not for yourselves, then for the House.
